written in the back of a cab to the essential small club in manila. weather report was for heavy traffic, bass and saxophone.

remember that time jermaine jackson jammed with mark holden on a stevie wonder session with 2 young
lions from the british jazz scene? i do.. it happened in adelaide.

significant elements here come from 2012 uk record dagda, specifically tom harrison's sax and billy adamson's guitars. i met tom at matt & phred's jazz club in the northern quarter.. i haggled over the price and he stood his ground. it's basically a perfect modern jazz album.
