New York based Hip Hop producer, 1988 drops his third release and first full-length album for Dub Temple entitled "Music2Escape2". This raw and soulful gem contains 11 rugged jams steeped in the rich tradition of east-coast boom-bap.

As the name suggests, "Music2Escape2" journeys through the mind of a dedicated digger, weaving deft loops, cavernous breaks and inches of dust together, brining new ideas to a golden-age sound .

1988's music draws comparisons to Primo, Lord Finesse and Pete Rock's jazz, soul and obscure sample-based beats. Tracks like "NY Minute" and "Vibeout" would be a perfect fit for Jay-Z's Machiavellian tactics or Nas' Brooklyn street economics.

"Music2Escape2" pulses with the NYC Hip Hop lineage, peppered with spoken word interludes that add a cinematic flair to this personal musical journey. This is a story that only a true head could tell with the amount of heart that shines throughout "Music2Escape2".
